Indian Army JAG Entry Scheme 17th Course Oct 2016 - 14 Posts

Indian Army invites applications from Law graduates (married/ unmarried Male and unmarried Female candidates) for grant of Short Service Commission 14 Posts (Men-10, Women-04)  in the Indian Army for Judge Advocate General Department (JAG) Entry Scheme 17th Course October 2016.

Age Limit: 
21 to 27 years as on 01 Jul 2016 (Born not earlier than 02 Jul 1989 and not later than 01 Jul 1995).

Educational Qualification:
Minimum 55% aggregate Marks in LLB Degree (three years professional course after graduation or five years course after 10+2 examination).

The candidates should be eligible for registration with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India.

Applications will only be accepted online through website “” from 18th January 2016 to 16th February 2016.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through two stage selection procedure based on Psychological Aptitude Test, Group Tests, Psychological Tests and Interview.

Candidates who qualify at the Service Selection Board and are found medically fit by a Medical Board, will be placed in the order of merit. The final selection will be made in that order up to the number of vacancies available.
