Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 9281 Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constable posts in Civil/ Armed Reserve/ SAR CPL/ TSSP/ Special Protection Force and Fireman posts in Telangana State Disaster Response & Fire Services Department.

Educational Qualifications:
Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognised by the State Government. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2015, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognised by the Telangana State Government and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examination.

Age Limit:
Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 01-07-2015 (for post no. 1 to 5).
Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 33 years as on 01-07-2015 (for post no. 6).
Upper age limit relaxations for reserved category candidates applicable as per norms.

How to Apply:
Eligible candidates can apply in ONLINE mode only in the prescribed proforma to be made available on www.tslprb.in from 11-01-2016 to 04-02-2016. The registered candidates may download their Hall Ticket one week before the date of Preliminary Written Test, which will be held on 03-04-2016 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 1.00 PM.

The applicants belonging to OCs/BCs shall pay a fee of Rs. 400/- and those belonging to SCs/STs shall pay a fee of Rs.200/- towards Application Processing and Examination Fee.

Selection Process:
Applicants of Telangana Police Jobs 2016 are selected based on their performance in following rounds
*Preliminary Written test
*Physical Measurement Test (PMT),
*Physical Efficiency test ,
*Final Written Examination,
*Marks weight age, and
*Personal Interview.

Preliminary Written Test:
Preliminary Written Test in one paper (3 hours duration) for 200 marks. The minimum marks to be secured by the candidates in order to qualify is 40% for OCs, 35% for BCs and 30% for SCs/STs/Ex-Servicemen.

5. Indian Geography, Polity and Economy

7. Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability
8. Contents pertaining to the State of Telangana.

Physical Measurements Test (PMT):
Cndidates qualified in the preliminary written test have to undergo Physical Measurements Test and should meet the following requirements.

a) Men candidates:
i) Height: Must not be less than 167.6 cms.
ii) Chest: Must not be less than 86.3 cms round the chest on full
inspiration with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
b) Women candidates:
i)Height: Must not be less than 152.5 cms.

For candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes and aboriginal tribes in the agency areas of Mahaboobnagar, Adilabad, Warangal and Khammam districts:
a) Men candidates:
i) Height: Must not be less than 160 cms.
ii) Chest: Must not be less than 80 cms round the chest on full
inspiration with a minimum expansion of 3 cms.
b) Women candidates:
i) Height: Must not be less than 150 cms.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Candidates qualified in the above Physical Measurements Test will be required to undergo the following tests.

Men candidates - Posts S.No. 1 & 6 (Candidates must qualify in any of the three (3) events which includes 800 mtrs run, out of the five (5) events). Physical Efficiency Test will be qualifying in nature.
01 100 metres run- 15 seconds (16.5 seconds- Ex-SM)
02 Long jump- 3.80 mtrs (3.65 mtrs- Ex-SM)
03 Shot put (7.26 Kgs)- 5.60 mtrs
04 High jump- 1.20 metres (1.05 metres- Ex-SM)
05 800 metres- run 170 seconds (200 seconds- Ex-SM)

Men candidates - Posts S.No. 2 to 5 (Candidates must qualify in all the five (5) events of Physical Efficiency Test carrying 75 maximum marks).
01 100 metres run- 15 seconds (16.5 seconds- Ex-SM)
02 Long jump- 3.80 mtrs (3.65 mtrs- Ex-SM)
03 Shot put (7.26 Kgs)- 5.60 mtrs

Final Written Examination:
Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test will be required to appear for a final written examination (3 hours duration). Questions in written examination will be objective in nature.

Weightage Marks:
For Post code 2 (Men & Women):
Candidates, who possess Light Motor Vehicle/ Transport Vehicle license, will be given weightage marks in the final selection, as detailed below:
(i) Candidate who possess Light Motor Vehicle license continuously for a period of full two years and below three years as on date of notification will be given 3 marks. (OR)
(ii) Candidate who possess Light Motor Vehicle license continuously for a period of three years and above as on date of notification will be given 5 marks. (OR)
(iii) Candidate who possess Transport Vehicle license (HTV/HMV) continuously for a period of full one year and above as on date of notification will be given 6 marks.
