UPSC CMS Examination 2017 - Apply Online for 710 Vacancies: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites online applications to Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2017 for the recruitment of 710 Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, Assistant Medical Officer, Junior Scale Posts, General Duty Medical Officer posts in Railways, Ordnance Factories Health Services, Central Health Services, Delhi Municipal Corporation through Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2017. Eligible candidates can apply online through upsconline.nic.in before 19th May 2017.

UPSC CMS Examination 2017 - Vacancy Details:
1. Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways - 450
2. Assistant Medical Officer in Indian Ordnance Factories Health Services - 26
3. Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services - 216
4. General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council - 02
5. General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East, North and South Delhi Municipal Corporation - 16

Educational Qualifications & Eligibility:
Ccandidate should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination. Candidate who has appeared or has yet to appear at the final M.B.B.S. Examination may also apply. Such candidate will be admitted to the examination if otherwise eligible but the admission would be deemed to be provisional and subject to cancellation, if they do not produce proof of having passed the written and practical part of the final M.B.B.S. Examination along with the detailed application which will be required to be submitted to the Commission by the candidates who qualify on the result of the Computer based examination. Candidate who has yet to complete the compulsory rotating internship is educationally eligible for admission to the examination but on selection he/she will be appointed only after he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship.

Age Limit:
Candidate must not have attained the age of 32 years as on 1st August, 2017, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1985. Upper age limit relaxations applicable as per government norms.

How to Apply:
Eligible candidates are required to apply Online by using the link www.upsconline.nic.in. The Online Application can be filled upto 19th May, 2017 till 6.00 P.M.

Candidates (Excepting Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay of fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of Hyderabad/State Bank of Mysore/State Bank of Patiala/State Bank of Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card. "Pay by cash" mode option will be deactivated at 23.59 hours of 18.05.2017 i.e. one day before the closing date.

Examination Sceme:
The written examination for Combined Medical Service for two objective papers will be conducted in Computer based mode. A demo module for Computer based mode of this examination will be available on UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in at the time of the launching of e-Admit Card. Candidates should note that there will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
