SBI PO 2017 - State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) Recruitment 2017 - 2313 Posts: State Bank of India (SBI) issued Probationary Officer (PO) 2017 Recruitment Notification for the recruitment of 2313 Probationary Officer vacancies. Eligible candidates may apply online from 07.02.2017 to 06.03.2017.

Educational Qualifications: (As on 01.07.2017)
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Final Year/ Semester candidates may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if called for interview, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates having Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 01.07.2017. Candidates possessing qualification of Chartered Accountant may also apply.

Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2017)
Not below 21 years and not above 30 years as on 01.04.2017 i.e candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1987and not later than01.04.1996 (bothdaysinclusive). Upper age limit relaxations applicable as per norms.

How to Apply:
Candidates can apply online only from 07.02.2017 to 06.03.2017 through www.sbi.co.in or www.statebankofindia.com. After registration, candidates are required to pay application fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. 100 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) through online mode by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking.

Selection Process:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Online objective Test for 100 marks for 1 hour duration consisting of 3 sections, i.e. English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability.

Phase-II: Main Examination: Online objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.

(i) Objective Test: The Objective Test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 sections for total 200 marks (Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General/ Economy/ Banking Awareness and English Language).

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).

Phase-III: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks).
Final selection will be based on only the marks obtained in Main Examination (Phase-II), GD & Interview (Phase-III). Candidates have to qualify both in Phase-II and Phase-III separately.
